Counseling Services

Small group counseling provides students with an opportunity to learn and practice specific social-emotional skills in a small, supportive setting. Groups may focus on topics such as friendship skills, managing emotions, coping strategies, confidence, problem-solving, or other areas of need. Students participate in activities and discussions designed to build skills they can use in school and beyond.
Groups can have anywhere from 3-6 members and usually meet once a week for several weeks.

Individual counseling gives students a safe, supportive space to talk through concerns, develop coping skills, and work toward personal goals. Sessions may address topics such as emotions, friendships, school challenges, problem-solving, self-regulation, or changes at home or school. The goal is to help students build the skills and confidence they need to be successful.
